Man, how are we already more than a month into high school football season?

 

Things are really starting to take shape around the area

 

Still no time for chit-chat. Let’s get into the picks for this week!

 

My record so far through four weeks is now 39-11 after going 8-2 in week four.

 

Arlington vs Vanlue - Arlington rolls along after drubbing Cory-Rawson last week.

 

Arcadia vs North Baltimore - Two teams that haven’t had the most stellar of starts to the season. I’ll take North Baltimore in this one.

 

Liberty-Benton vs Cory-Rawson - Liberty-Benton. By a lot.

 

Van Buren vs Riverdale - One of the more interesting matchups so far this season. I have a feeling Van Buren finds a way in this one.

 

Rossford vs Fostoria - Rossford. By a lot.

 

Eastwood vs Genoa - This matchup has been really good over the last few years. I think Eastwood takes this year’s game.

 

Mohawk vs Carey - Mohawk has struggled since their big week one win. They’ll get some points on the board, but I have Carey winning this Battle of Wyandot County.

 

Margaretta vs Hopewell-Loudon - Hopewell-Loudon. By a lot.

 

Mansfield Senior vs Columbian - A good looking matchup for this one. Columbian is 2-2. Mansfield Senior at 3-1. I have Columbian winning this homecoming matchup. 

 

Calvert vs Fremont St. Joe’s - If Calvert doesn’t win this one then it’s time to hit the panic button. I will go with the Senecas.

 

Findlay vs Whitmer - Findlay ran into a Central Catholic buzzsaw last week. Whitmer is a good team with three wins on the year so far. I think Findlay finds a way to pull this one out.

Pandora-Gilboa vs McComb - I won’t pick this one since it’s the game I will be calling tonight. Hear all the action with Matt Cotman and I on Classic Hits 96-7 right here.
