On Monday, October 20, the Tiffin Art Guild will feature Ky Miller, Tattoo Artist of Don’t Panic Tattoo Studio as the evening speaker. Miller studied at the Art Institute of Pittsburg and fine arts at Ohio State. He will be speaking about the process of creating a design and transforming it into a tattoo as well as his other artistic interests including acrylic painting and mixed media design. The public is always invited to the monthly meeting which begins at 7 pm on the 3rd Monday of each month. The Tiffin Art Guild Gallery is located at 178 S Washington in Tiffin. The Wood County Historical Museum is pleased to host a nationally-recognized photography exhibit by Christopher Payne called Asylum: "Inside the Closed World of State Mental Hospitals". The exhibit and companion book will be in the new gallery space at the Wood County Historical Museum May 31 - November 16, 2014. An opening reception is planned for Friday, May 30, from 6-8pm, with Payne's remarks and book signing. This event is free and open to the public.
