OSU BUCKEYE RAFFLE, FOSTORIA   THE FOSTORIA AREA HISTORICAL SOCIETY IS RAFFLING OFF 2 TICKETS FOR THE OHIO STATE PENN STATE FOOTBALL GAME ON OCTOBER 26TH AT OHIO STADIUM IN COLUMBUS. TICKETS ARE $3 EACH OR 2 FOR $5. (PARKING NOT INCLUDED) IN ADDITION, THERE WILL BE TWO OTHER PRIZES. THE SECOND PRIZE WILL BE A 1958 ROSE BOWL PROGRAM (OHIO STATE VS OREGON) THE THIRD PLACE PRIZE IS A COPY OF THE NEW DVD, THE HISTORY OF FOSTORIA, VOLUME 1, WHICH WILL BE RELEASED 9/17. The Museum is open Tuesday-Friday, 9:30am - 4:30pm and weekends 1-4pm with extended hours during special events.

  10:30AM 4:30PM ULTIMATE DOGPAWLOOZA, RIVERBEND REC. AREA   Bring the family to a funfilled weekend with the Ultimate Air Dog Show, a premier dock jumping organization, area vendors and food. A 2 mile dog walk will kick off the event on Saturday at 9:30am. Dog "splashes" and demonstrations will take place throughout the weekend event.   4:00PM 6:00PM FALL DISC GOLF TOURNAMENT, HPD, FINDLAY   Riverbend Recreation Area, Shelter #3 - Test your competitive disc golf skills by the light of the moon at this day/night tournament presented by the Findlay area Disc Golf Community Association. Prizes awarded to half the field in each division. Two single rounds of disc golf will be played. Round #2 will be played after dark with glow sticks lighting baskets and discs. Prizes awarded for longest putt and closest to the pin. The entry fee is $20. Onsite registration begins at 2:30pm. To pre-register, contact Dennis Hills at dhills@wcoil.com or phone 419-523-5423.
 
  8:00PM 9:00PM THE FALL SKY, HPD, FINDLAY   Riverbend Recreation Area, Shelter #5 - Kevin Smith of the Millstream Astronomy Club will be presenting a program on the fall night sky. We wil also have telescopes on hand to view the Moon, Saturn, Venus and other wonders of the night sky.
