The Hancock Park District is offering the hands on history program, "School Days" on Sunday, August 4th, at the McKinnis House. This free public program will center on school in the mid 19th century. The program will begin at 1:30 pm and last until 4:30pm. School is in session at the McKinnis House and all are welcomed to attend. Class will be held at 2p and 4p in the backyard of the house. Lessons will be given as they were in 1847 and will focus on reading, writing, and arithmatic. Participants are free to come and go as they please. Litzenberg Woods is located at 6100 US 224, 6 miles west of Findlay. The site is handicap accessable with restrooms available inside the Activity Barn.
